Its a biiiiiiiiiig wide world out there when youre this wee. A common field grasshopper (Chorthippus brunneus) surveys his kingdom.

Fantastic shot (and such a cute grasshopper!) :D I love how much detail you can see on the critter, and how only him and the leaf he's sitting on is in focus, giving the feeling of great distance beyond the little platform. It almost feels he's surveying the landscape and waiting for the right moment to jump :D
